The gift of choosing which avenue to take, is what makes us unique. To be able to progress toward the Word of God, or to be what Satan wants us to be, is our choosing. God gives us His mandate, His promise and it is ours for the taking. The one thing, that is truly ours, and how I profusely want to give it back, to have any other feature of His doing.
Satan wishes to give us, what we want NOW! But Our Lord chooses to give us His promise, when He allows it, or when we have reached our crucible. Personally, I think it’s unfair….The days come and go, sun rises and sets, and lives are changed everyday. It is truly, without a doubt, fascinating to know that the hairs on our head are counted, and the time of our death is duly noted. But, what if a person chooses to lose his or her life, by putting themselves in harms way? Will Our Lord save them, or leave them to their choosing.
All that we should know, or choose not to learn, does make us sick. With living life, on a daily basis of work, school, children, mortgages, car payments or what have you, then to have in mind that God is watching, listening, observing and not to forget, looking into our hearts, to see where our truth lies. That is mind-numbing, hence, getting sick….I found that, the more I pray, the more anxious I become. But, when others pray for me, something positive does happen, sometimes. Learning all I need to know about my faith, and believing in all Our Lord said, done, told, gave, performing miracles and such, does get a bit overwhelming, but becomes easier with practice, but to do all that, to have nothing in return, is hurtful…very hurtful.
