Tensions at a glance..

At that very moment, at that split second…anger is the most difficult, if not uncontrollable force, we can ever experience. It is the only emotion, that turns inside out, happiness to aggression…other than death or the fear of death, anger is the one, true force, that is completely unpredictable. It can win a fight, or lose a family. No one has ever come out on top, because of it. Their is no positive side to it. It can make someone sick, suffer from hypertension, headaches and on and on…The overwhelming sensation of adrenaline, temporarily subsides all other aspects of emotion, for the time being. But then what? Many things happen, during the course of anger, whether it be saying hurtful obscenities, a broken hand, and even land in jail because we all know, we can’t be angry forever, and plus…it’s not a good way to live.

After the aggression, for the sensitive at heart, remorse and sincere apologies follow. It’s a paradox…We can get really, I mean really angry, then we get really sympathetic. Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum, but it’s true. Just some more than others, but more or less, we have some of that, in common. Tensions rise, and tensions fall…but, it’s what happens after, that tells us apart.

Trying to explain to someone, the dire consequences of their actions, in that angry state of mind, is like telling a young kid not to think of Mickey Mouse, when we all know, that’s going to be the first thought in his little brain. It goes through one ear, and out the other. They are completely oblivious, to the warnings, that a calm person would advice. The best thing we can do, is to avoid situations that would arise such tensions. It’s better to be safe, than sorry. Much has still to be learned about what humans can or can’t do, but progress is being made, it’s just a shame that technology has become more important, than studying the human brain more intensely and accurately. Much more we need to learn…
