It’s one in the same, if you think about it! Vehicles go faster, than the human brain, has time to comprehend a particular scenario. It has undoubtedly become a NASCAR race with destructive consequences for everyone. The latest incident in New York City, with the “Hollywood Stunt” riders is the perfect example of such a case. Unfortunately, the driver of the Range Rover had his wife and kid with him. I just can’t help but ask, where is God in all this? Free Will is the common sense, that some people take for granted. Choosing to exercise common sense is not the priority for some, though it should be.
How about we all check our ego’s at the door (car door, that is), and drive sympathetically. This will take some practice, but it’ll be worth it for all involved at some point. It is quickly becoming a vigilante society at an alarming rate. For most people, all it takes is the simplest of catalysts to “unleash the fury” and all hell breaks loose. Road rage is one of those prominent things in life, that will never be inconspicuous. Hasn’t anyone noticed that? Has anyone ever seen a subtle road rage incident? It’s completely not in the nature of the aggressor to be in a state of calm, in a road rage incident. Road rage drivers are always assertive, always. The inexperienced driver quickly obliges the aggressive driver, and they somehow become experienced…so they think. Sometimes, all it takes is a grimace to get a negative reaction from drivers…and now drivers are carrying guns. It’s a scary world out there and things quickly become subverted and disregard for other drivers takes a back seat.
It actually makes it very much embarrassing for a male driver, if he has his counterpart in the vehicle for the fear of being stultified, which to say the least, will ruin his ego and attempt to being more daring the next time around. It’s a vicious circle and the correlated efforts by law enforcement haven’t been able to solve the problem. I’m starting to wonder, if road rage is becoming an underlying condition that many of us have, when it’s ignited at any given time…Hmm…it’s an interesting theory!
