Just In Case

With all that’s happening in the world today, I’m not surprised with the behavior of some. It’s almost as if that subtle sign that all is being lost and it’s a domino effect from nation to nation. Being able to be home with your family, is an important thing, especially in times of uncertainty like these. Wake up, go to work, come home and enjoy quality time. That’s what it should be about!…President Obama just finished up his speech to the United States on the pending debt ceiling and how Congress should do its job, to end the partial government shutdown.

Obviously, most of us, are just pawns in what seems to be a game to these politicians. If the debt ceiling isn’t avoided, we can almost guarantee stocks will be dumped and 401K’s will definitely be affected, just like they were in 2008. In all this madness, we should all take time to prioritize our lives, President Obama sounded great, as he always does, but all he’s doing is throwing the argument back to the House and vice versa. Too much assertiveness and, at this point pure ego, hasn’t ruined us yet, but looks like both parties will need come to a conclusion soon. Now, both CNN and Fox News is, in my mind, is using “default” too often and though, it’s where we’re heading. It’s not here yet!
