Romans 12:19

19 Beloved, do not look for revenge but leave room for the wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, say the Lord.”

As much as revenge may and sound to be sweet…it only brings for discomfort and atrocities to ensue. And for the introvert in me, anxiety is not a way of living a day to day life. Rather than lose myself in vengeance, the best thing to do is pray or settle the strife. But, for some, settling a strife can be taken as a sign of weakness rather than show peace. Something like this can go both ways. I’m just glad that I’m taking the necessary steps to extinguish the anger that drives me to such profound thoughts of mischief and just breath.
